How come most other guys freak, and break up their gfs out when they say she wants to marry them?

all my friends break up with their girlfriends when they say that, im 16, and my friends r 14-18, iv never had a girlfriend, but i dont get why my friends freak out when their gfs say that becuase of i had one, i would want my gf to say thatHow come most other guys freak, and break up their gfs out when they say she wants to marry them?

The thing about getting married is that:


- You loose most of your freedom, you have to get approval from her if you wanna go out with your friends


- I becomes We, so you have to plan stuff for her


- You cant have sex with other women (i mean u can, but you will be dead if your wife found out)


- Its mostly scary for guys because of the freedom and the sex partner thing, most guys prefer quantity over quality, when most girls prefer quality over quantity.





Im planning to propose to my gf, because we know each other long enough and shes not too controlling and i dont care about having sex with other women, as long as i got her.
Um, because most teenagers don't want to deal with the responsibility and loss of freedom that comes with getting married. That you do just shows you're a little bit inexperienced. Most guys want to go out and have fun with a lot of women before settling down.
One of the reasons that they freak out when their girl friends say they want to get married is because their hormonal teenagers who are far more concerned with having lots of sex than they are with establishing relationships.





Another reason might be because betwixt the ages of 14 and 25 boys and girls have not had anywhere near the numbers and varieties of experiences necessary to be able to adequately judge who they are a proper match for and would love nothing more than to wait and find out before getting into four failed marriages like their parents did.
most guys are afraid of commitment, its the ugly truth.
Well I can understand why they would do that because number men don't like commitment and two your friends are only 14 to 18 years old and are WAY too young to be thinking about marriage. Most likely they're more interested in long term relationships, partying, getting drunk and having sex. The lost thing they want is marriage and that's what scares young men so much. I'm not that much older then your friends I'm 19 and a freshmen in college. And do not intent to marry or have kids. I'm more interested in long term relationships but that's just me.
