My bisexual best friend and her first girlfriend of a little over a year broke up a last night and my friend, Lilly, keeps coming to me and crying. I can't think of anything to say so I usually just hug her but it doesn't seem to do any good. I really want to help her in anyway, but I'm not good at making others feel better.... help?!How do I help my friend with her break up?
Be totally on her side and say that it is the other person's loss and shes not worth it, she's better off without that person, she always deserve better
or
Encourage her to think about the positive aspects of her break up - e.g. - more freedom, the chance to meet a new person for a fresh and exciting relationship, more money to spend on herself, nobody to answer toHow do I help my friend with her break up?
tell her that there are a lot more people out there for her. The world doesn't only revolve around her girl friend. If she's not ready yet, try to get involve more in other activities that is productive for her.
first, try to find the problem why ur friend use to break up. then find the solution to the problem and then advise her what to do according to that solution. she will be fine.
stay out of it and mind your own business. let them work it out.
eat.
